When things seem hopeless Quotes

It's always hard to admit we're feeling hopeless and we often push those thoughts to the back of our minds. We tell ourselves that whatever is wrong will pass and we'll be fine, without acknowledging that we're struggling with deep feelings of sadness and unworthiness. It's important not to let those feelings take over, and that we recognize that we're not the only person feeling like this. We all experience these difficult feelings and we've all been there before.

For example read the text of a page from my diary:

All I want to do right now is cry and scream and let it all out because it's killing me inside. This is how I feel right now. Being hopeless is the worst feeling. Having nothing in my control...   Sometimes I imagine myself running, but I don't know which way I am running; am I running into fear or running away from responsibilities? To keep going, I need a reason. I just can't wake up every morning not knowing what to do. Everything feels bad to me. I am sick of waking up and feeling awful all day, of not seeing anything get better; People say that you should stand in front of a mirror and ask yourself what you want out of life. The problem is that when I stand in front of a mirror, I can't recognize myself. Pain, they say, is temporary. Yet look at Van Gogh for example. I think my point of view is lunatic. The examples that are exceptions are the ones that I see, followed by those that are commonplace. So, am I helpless, or am I acting?

Is that how you feel, too? Then read these top 35 'when things seem hopeless quotes'.
